Acicles

"Acicles" is a project consisting of 11 ink drawings on paper, created during a field exploration trip to Patagonia in 2016. These drawings capture the essence of the pine forests and the vastness of the crystal-clear lakes in South America.

The title, "Acicles," refers to fine, delicate, and pointed shapes that cause no harm. In botany, "acicles" are the leaves of pine trees, and in my work, they represent thin ideas that emerge in my imagination, floating and connecting like objects in nature.
